MSPA - HOW TO REPLACE CONTROL BOX OR LINER - COMFORT SERIES
Video on how to remove the control unit from your Tekapo or Bergen
Drain and deflate first.
Then unscrew the inlet and outlet grills from the inside of the MSpa using the light gray slightly curved wrench. Just a slight twist anti clockwise should free the grill so it can be removed by hand.
Then with a plain screwdriver to remove the inflation knob cover, then undo the screw in the middle of the inflation knob and remove it carefully as there is a micro switch next to the knob.
With those three things removed you can then tip the control unit / side of the pool on its side / upside down. Note that the video shows at 46 seconds, the screws being undone to loosen the couplings. In my experience this isn't necessary. The two couplings should only be finger tight and should undo anti-clockwise without needing to loosen the screws.
Then the control unit just slides out and the wired controller comes out through the gap in the bottom of the wired controller pocket.
You can then proceed to flush your control unit with water per the quarterly cleaning recommendations, or package it up to send it in for its annual service or for unscheduled maintenance.
