What a Health Check covers

• A thorough control unit inspection, including an endoscope check down the heater and a run on the test tank
• A clear summary of anything you should consider for ongoing preventative maintenance
• Spare parts on hand for minor repairs or part renewals — quoted before we proceed, so there are no surprises
• Helps prolong your spa pool’s lifespan and supports optimal energy efficiency

Is a Health Check right for you?

• You’ve just bought, or are about to sell, a portable spa. A Health Check confirms the state of the key internal parts and can support your asking price.
• You’re pulling the spa out of storage for the season. A quick check gives you confidence the season won’t be interrupted by unscheduled maintenance.
• You want peace of mind about your unit’s condition without committing to a full Annual Service.

How the Auckland day works (Thursday 4 June 2026)

From 9:00 AM — 4/90 Hobsonville Rd, Auckland.

You can:

• Bring your control unit on the day, or
• Use the return shipping label to courier it ahead. Couriered units should arrive by the morning of 4 June — Post Haste typically delivers first thing.

We’ll work through every booked unit, even if that runs us into the evening. If you drop yours off in the morning, head off for a coffee, lunch or some shopping — we’ll text or call when your unit is ready to collect.

How the Christchurch day works (Thursday 18 June 2026)

From 9:00 AM — 23B Montclare Avenue, Ilam, Christchurch 8041.

Drop your control unit in at the service centre on the day. Same $50 price with HealthCheck50, same in-person turnaround.

How the standard mail-in service works ($65)

Outside of our scheduled in-person clinics, post your control unit to our Christchurch service centre using the return shipping label, in a banana box. The standard Health Check is $65 plus shipping. Extra charges apply if major components need to be replaced.

What to bring (or send)

Just your control unit. We’ll check the serial number on arrival to confirm we have the right customer details on file.

Looking after your spa pool while your unit is with us

For customers with Mono, Oslo, Duet, Naval and Tuscany spas: use the caps provided with your spa pool to preserve the water in your pool while the Health Check is conducted.

For owners of other models: you will need to drain and then deflate your pool to be able to send or bring your control unit to us for checking.

Booking and payment

Booking and payment in advance is required, including for in-person drop-offs on clinic days.

If your unit needs repairs

Most Health Checks are completed quickly. If we identify work that goes beyond the standard Health Check, we’ll quote it before proceeding.

If your unit stays with us

Control units awaiting repair decisions incur a $10 storage charge from the 15th day after receipt, and every week thereafter. Units in our possession for two months without payment or arrangements will be disposed of. We’ll make every effort to contact you to ensure your unit is repaired or returned before disposal.
